SUE K. CHEN, B.A., M.B.A., J.D. - Prior to becoming a lawyer, Sue represented clients on motor vehicle accident benefit cases and conducted a number of arbitrations, mediations, and small claims court trials. Since being admitted to the bar of New York (2002) and called to the bar of Ontario (2003), Sue has practiced in the area of real estate, civil litigation and criminal defence.  Sue presently focuses her practice exclusively in personal injury litigation.  She has represented numerous clients from different ethnicities and has an in depth understanding of dealing with clients from various cultures.  Sue has represented clients in court in Ontario and New York and on actions/claims/cases in New York, British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario. While representing clients of various cultural backgrounds, Sue travels to Asia and the United States to best assist her diverse client base.  Sue has been interviewed numerous times by Asian media for comments on various legal issues and cases she has worked on, including the Fairchild News, Fairchild Radio, Singtao newspaper, Mingpao newspaper, CHIN radio, and Today Daily News.  Sue has also conducted Continuing Medical Education presentations to physicians in Scarborough.  Sue recently was a speaker for the law society’s Annual Law Clerks program.

Her most recent accomplishments are appearing as a guest speaker for 6 eposides on an on-air radio legal knowledge discussion for Fairchild Radio and her appearance before the Divisional Court as counsel for the Plaintiff in Ng v. Beline, a decision that was published in the Ontario Reports.
